This park was "adequate". In all honesty, I expected much more based upon the ratings in Woodall's and Trailer Life Directory as well as from the full page ad this campground has in each directory (coincidence?). This is an old KOA, the sites and driveways are all gravel, and despite their ad, big rigs find the driveways a little tight. There are a several long term residents, and a couple of those sites are looking a little trashy. It served its purpose as a stop along I-10, but that's about all.

We pulled in here mostly on a whim, expecting to dry camp. What a neat surprise to get a full hookup site, complete with cable! The sites are large, and there's tons of wildlife. This is a little off of the beaten path for the I-10 traffic, but its worth the side trip. We would stay here again.

A neat, clean KOA. Nothing really spectacular, but a good stop over point along the interstate.

One of the nicer KOAs that we've stayed at. Sites were large, with grass and shade trees. Tons of stuff to see in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice, clean little park. The night views of Las Cruces are excellent. The daytime views are not quite as good. We would stay here again.

I was a little disappointed in the park in general. On the plus side, the owner/staff were very friendly and helpful. Other than that, perhaps we were early in the season or something. The pool still had its cover (full of dirty water) on, and there weeds growing in areas that I don't think there should have been. Next time we will probably bypass this one in favor of Williams or Kingman.

Yes, this park is a large paved area adjacent to an RV dealership. We didn't find that to be a problem; in fact it was very nice to be able to walk over to the Camping World store to buy a needed part. Nice pool area, as well as a fitness center. There is also a good restaurant included in the park complex. A continental breakfast was included in our stay.

This is a great RV park if you are a train enthusiast. The Grand Canyon Railroad runs only 100' from the park, and there is a lot of opportunity to see the vintage train close up. If you are not a train enthusiast, then the 4:00 A.M. train whistle outside your window might not be so fun. Parents should be aware that there is no fence between the tracks and the park, so children need to be watched closely! Other than that, a straight-forward park, pretty well maintained.

This park is part of the casino complex, so they seem to keep it pretty well maintained. The view is pretty nice if you are up on one of the upper levels.

This park was a vast disappointment compared to their web site. It gives the appearance of being very run down, largely due to lack of maintenance. The weeds needed tending; the bathrooms are falling apart; the laundry was out of order. You register at the motel lobby, but you can only register for one night at a time; if you want to stay longer, you must go back each day and register again. There is a very finicky card-lock security gate that you must negotiate, which includes a hard corner for trailers to navigate. This gate serves no purpose that we could see, other than to irritate the campers. There are no assigned sites; you take whatever is open. If you have to drive your RV up to the caverns, you need to leave something in your site or someone else will take it while you are gone. The sites are arranged with hook-ups every other site. Rigs have to alternate directions in the pull throughs in order for the hook-ups to come out right. This means that your door will face your neighbor's door. There is only 10' of space between sites, with two picnic tables crammed in. We will definitely not stay there again.

The park is reasonably well maintained. We would give it a higher rating if some firmer rules were established for the seasonals. Some of their rigs and sites are an eyesore. The park has an attached museum, and there is a kid's play area. All in all, this park is a good opportunity to stay near Albuquerque but not have to deal with the noise and traffic.

Bare bones basic KOA, and like most, over-priced for what you get. Sites were gravel, and the park was fairly well maintained for what it was. The park has the advantage of being somewhat in the middle between Tucson and El Paso for those in transit. There are not a lot of services available in Lordsburg. If we had to do it again, we would opt to travel another 45 minutes to Deming.

This is a great little park. There are only a few sites, and only two pull-throughs, but everything is neat and clean. The owners take a great deal of pride in the appearance of the park. The park is a little bit small for children to be able to romp and play.

A good, clean park, with a lot of attention paid to appearances. Full-timers and seasonals have a strict set of rules to follow regarding the looks of their site. There are a lot of trees planted, and some day there will be a lot of shade. There is not a lot for kids to do, and parents are expected to make sure that their kids follow the rules. There is some noise from I-10 as well as U.S. Air Force aircraft from a nearby base.

This is a pretty good KOA. They cater a lot to families, and there seemed to be a lot of things for children to do. The main thing that we liked is that it is well-located to stay overnight on that long trek up or down the San Joaquin Valley.
